Purpose and Scope

The purpose of the meeting is to provide a scientific forum for presentations and discussion of topics related to all aspects of radiohalogen research. Topics to be included are production, radiolabelling chemistry, and applications such as imaging and therapy. Implications of using radiohalogens, such as 124I, in imaging will be discussed. The meeting is intended to be small (restricted to 70 attendees) with oral and poster presentations only and will have a workshop atmosphere with lots of discussion time.

The early registration fee (before June 1) is $500 for full registration and $400 for students.

Hotel accommodation is $115/night and can be arranged by clicking below and going directly to the Coast Whistler Hotel website. Please advise the hotel that you are attending the 5ISR to get the conference rate.

Student and Young Investigator Awards

We have a limited number of Student and Young Investigator Awards to help cover travel and other expenses. Students and Young Investigators should register online and fill in the appropriate information but should not proceed to the payment page. Abstract submission is also a condition to be eligible for an award. You will be informed later if you have received an awrd and if your registration is waived. Young investigators of up to 5 years post Ph.D. should also submit a letter of application upon registration. That letter should indicate your need for travel funds and a brief statement of why you want to attend the meeting.
